Mittal Oration Gold Medal Awards

Dr MC Mittal, M.D. Medicine and MPH (Harvard university, 1995) was the founder professor of the department of PSM in MGM Medical College, Indore in 1956. He was the father figure of Community Medicine and the teacher of our teachers. This oration is dedicated towards the remarkable contribution for the Community Medicine fraternity. It is the most prestigious award of the state given to faculty of Community Medicine.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. He/she should be less than 50 years of age on 27-Nov-2025.
  2. Life member of IAPSM.
  3. He/she has undergraduate/postgraduate teaching experience of at least 5 years.
  4. He/she must have attended and presented papers at least two national IAPSM conferences and three zonal IAPSM conference.
  5. He/she has at least two publications in any indexed journal as first/second author.

Selection for the award will be done by a committee comprising of Zonal President, Vice President, Organising Chairperson, Organising secretary, Scientific Committee Chairperson. Selected persons will be requested to present his/her choice subject/paper.
