Dr. Swarn Kanta Likhar

Dr. Swarn Kanta Likhar is an accomplished academician and public health expert, currently serving as the Professor and Head of the Department of Community Medicine at Government Medical College, Ratlam. An esteemed alumna of Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, she completed both her undergraduate and postgraduate medical education at this prestigious institution. With over two decades of dedicated teaching experience, Dr. Likhar is widely respected for her passionate commitment to medical education and her exceptional mentorship of future healthcare professionals. Her academic excellence is reflected in 11 research publications in reputed national journals. She has previously held key academic positions, including Associate Professor and Head of Department at People’s College of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (PCMSRC), as well as at RKDF Medical College. Dr. Likhar has actively participated in numerous national and state-level conferences, contributing significantly to the advancement of community medicine. In addition to her academic endeavors, Dr. Likhar has coordinated various public health projects that have had a measurable impact on the environment and society. She is known for her outgoing personality, strong leadership, and steadfast commitment to community service. Her dynamic presence and unwavering dedication continue to inspire students, colleagues, and the broader medical community.

Dr. Dhruvendra Pandey

Dr. Dhruvendra Pandey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Community Medicine at Government Medical College, Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, with nearly a decade of teaching experience. He completed his MBBS at NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur, earned an MD in Community Medicine from MGM Medical College, Indore, and holds a PG Diploma in Epidemiology from the Indian Institute of Public Health, New Delhi. Dr. Pandey has authored over 45 international and national research articles, reflecting significant scholarly contributions to public health. His active involvement extends to various government health initiatives and supportive supervisions, including mentoring NTEP, routine immunization, vaccine management, and HIV prevention programs. He has been an investigator and collaborator on key research projects funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the National Health Mission (NHM). Dr. Pandey is also a lifetime member of several national public health associations, serves on editorial boards, and reviews for reputable journals. Over the years, he has received numerous awards, such as the Late Dr. VB Saxena Award of Young Faculty (2023), Young Scientist Award (2018), and Young Research Scholar Award (2020), underscoring his dedication to medical science and community health. Dr. Pandey is widely respected for his integrity, dedication to public health, and commitment to student welfare. His approachable nature and willingness to go the extra mile for his students and colleagues have made him a valued member of the academic community. With over a decade of experience in medical education and Public health, he continues to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals. His work has significantly contributed to the advancement of Community Medicine in Madhya Pradesh.

Dr. Umesh Sinha

Dr. Umesh Sinha, currently Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine, GMC Ratlam, is a distinguished medical professional with over 17 years of teaching experience in Community Medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal and MD in Preventive and Social Medicine from MGM Medical College, Indore. Since 2018, he has been the Associate Professor of Department of Community Medicine at GMC Ratlam. Dr. Sinha has an extensive research portfolio, with notable projects under WHO, UNICEF, and the Clinton Foundation, focusing on childhood morbidity, rural health, and PPTCT services. He has presented papers at national conferences and published over 15 research articles in reputed journals, covering topics like breastfeeding, hypertension, and tuberculosis. His thesis on the utilization of untied funds under NRHM reflects his commitment to improving public health systems. A passionate and effable educator and researcher, Dr. Sinha has participated in numerous workshops, seminars, and training programs, including those by ICMR, WHO, and UNDP. His contributions to health research and education continue to impact medical training and community health outcomes.

Dr. Piyusha Mahashabde

Dr. Piyusha Mahashabde is an accomplished Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Medicine at Government Medical College, Ratlam. Hailing from Indore, she earned her MBBS from R.D. Gardi Medical College, and completed her postgraduate degree in Community Medicine from Index Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre, Indore. With over 11 years of teaching experience, including a senior residency at AIIMS Raipur, Dr. Mahashabde brings a wealth of academic and practical knowledge to her role. She has published more than 10 research papers in reputed national journals, reflecting her commitment to advancing public health and medical research. Known for her dedication to medical education, Dr. Mahashabde is a passionate teacher who continues to inspire students through her insightful teaching and unwavering commitment. Her interests include reading and continuous learning, which further enrich her professional contributions.

Dr. Anand Patidar

Dr. Anand Kumar Patidar is a dedicated academician currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Medicine at Government Medical College, Ratlam. He completed his MBBS from Government NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur, and pursued his MD in Community Medicine from Government MGM Medical College, Indore. With experience extending beyond his specialty, Dr. Patidar has also served as a demonstrator in departments such as Pathology and Anatomy, enriching his multidisciplinary teaching approach. His academic contributions include the publication of two papers in international journals, seven in national journals, and two in state-level journals, reflecting his commitment to advancing public health research. Known for his calm demeanor and student-friendly approach, Dr. Patidar is a passionate teacher who inspires learning through clarity, patience, and a deep understanding of the subject.

Dr. LS Kot

Dr. Lokendra Singh Kot

With over 11 years of dedicated experience in applied statistics, Dr. Lokendra Kot serves as a Demonstrator cum Statistician at Government Medical College, Ratlam. He holds an M.Sc. in Statistics from School of Studies in Statistics, Vikram University, Ujjain, and earned his Ph.D. from the School of Economics, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. Dr. Kot blends academic rigor with a deep passion for holistic well-being. A committed practitioner of yoga and meditation, he believes in the integration of mental clarity and physical health to enhance professional and personal life. His interdisciplinary approach and calm demeanor make him a valued mentor and collaborator in both research and teaching.
